From a conversation to a book on the shelf.
No writing skills and no deadline. We ask the questions, keep the voice, and help turn it into a book your family keeps.
Step 1
Give the gift
You choose a package and we hand your loved one the keys to their own book.
- — A printable certificate you can put in an envelope
- — The QR code on it starts their interview
- — Delivery held until the date you pick
Step 2
They talk
The interview is a conversation, not a form. One question at a time.
- — Press and talk — speech becomes text
- — A question a day keeps the project moving
- — Photos they attach shape the questions
Step 3
We help shape your story
Their spoken memories become chapters in their own first-person voice.
- — Prologue, 9 chapters in 3 parts, conclusion
- — Drafted in their voice — editable word by word
- — Photos woven into the story where they belong
Step 4
A book to keep
A finished hardcover for the shelf, a digital edition for the whole family.
- — Professionally printed hardcover
- — Scan a page — hear them tell it
- — Copies for the whole family
Questions families ask
How much time does it take?
Minutes at a time, not hours. Most people answer a question or two with their morning coffee. There's no deadline — the book waits, and progress saves automatically.
Do they need to be good with technology?
No. If they can press a button and talk, they can do this. Everything works from a phone, and every answer saves itself — nothing to remember to click.
What if they get stuck on a question?
They can skip it, come back later, or say "pass". Photos help too — an old picture usually unlocks a story faster than any question.
Can I give input on their story?
Yes, with the Family package. Relatives can be invited to add questions and memories of their own, so the book holds the family's voice, not just one.
What do we actually receive?
A printed hardcover book (Keepsake and Family) and a digital edition, with QR codes linking each page to the original recording where included.
Is this a subscription?
No — one payment per gift, and the printed book is theirs to keep.
